The Toolbox Team is founded and owned by Ben Gibson. Ben has spent the last 10 years working in government and compliance management. He has experience training, auditing and coaching hundreds of businesses across the country.
The Toolbox Team consults regularly with SafeWork Australia, state regulators and the EPA on a range of current industry trends. We have had a number of clients inspected and their compliance management endorsed by the regulator.
Our team is made up of qualified, engaging and experienced compliance experts with a commitment to amazing customer support.
The Toolbox Team is made up of a dedicated group of professionals that love what we do.
We have long seen an opportunity to change the perception of safety and environmental compliance onsite, making it practical, clearer and more effective.

How did The Toolbox Team originate?
Founder and director Ben Gibson is passionate about making practical and effective Health Safety & Environment (HSE) improvements onsite, inline with regulatory compliance requirements.
The Toolbox Team is driven through staff engagement and consultation to achieve real change at your facility.
All too often businesses are sold overly complex software (that does not get used) or thick folders sitting on a shelf (gathering dust!) that do not help you on your compliance journey.
Our support is practical, relevant, effective, engaging and compliant.
What are some of the custom compliance documents supplied by The Toolbox Team?
Based on the core system requirements of SafeWork Australia, principles of continual improvement and state legislation, the Toolbox Team provides industry specific, tailored tools to help you demonstrate effective compliance management.
Just the tools – includes practical, operational risk assessment and control documents (with procedures) to ensure your staff are trained and the regulators have the evidence of ‘on the ground’ implementation.
Tools and onsite support – after an onsite audit we are able to build a custom, complete HSE compliance management system. System components include Leadership and Organisational Commitment, Hazards and Risk Management, People (Induction and Return to Work), Emergency Preparedness and Response (including an Emergency Management Plan), Auditing and Inspection tools, Incident management and Environmental Management.
