Based in Sydney, Mat joins The Toolbox Team with a strong background across elite golf, sports turf, local government and large scale open space operations. His experience at Royal Perth, The Australian, The Lakes, Cronulla and Roseville Golf Clubs gives him a practical understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by turf managers, and maintenance teams, operational leaders working in regulated environments and other challenges faced within the golf and sports turf sector.
Mat works closely with Toolbox Team clients to support the implementation of WHS and environmental compliance systems, drawing on his experience leading teams, managing complex operational assets and driving practical improvements in safety culture and performance.
Outside of work, Mat spends a lot of time training at the gym and getting to the beach whenever possible. An avid traveller with his fiancée, whether locally or overseas, he’s also just as happy switching off with a good book. Mat is also into car detailing, which probably says a lot about how practical and detail-focused he is : )
